That Bloody Tuesday Night
Welcome back, readers!
So I was scrolling through my posts on this blog, and when I reached my very first post on September 3rd, 2019. I realized something. It had been five years and two months since my very first post. Fun fact: I started this blog on September 2nd. It might sound confusing since the date on my first post says September 3rd, but there's more to it. I created this blog at night, maybe around 11:30 p.m., before I got a nosebleed and had to go to sleep. There are some things you can't forget, good or bad, and some moments you cannot forget. For me, creating this blog, publishing Max&Lily, and publishing Beyond Humans are some of these moments. I find it hard to believe that it's been five years since the start of my writing journey. Five years since I put my work out there. I know this blog has been running low on readers for a while now, and the reason for that might be those 2-3 years when I lost access to my blog. And while I'm a bit bummed out that this blog doesn't have that much clout anymore, I don't regret starting it. I took the opportunity and risk of putting my work out there, but now that I look back on it, I don't regret it. My father helped me to get this blog off the ground and encouraged me to put my work out there, and I will be forever grateful for that opportunity. Today, I am who and where I am because of that night, all the moments that led up to it, and even after it. I will be forever thankful not only to my friends and family but also to that bloody night.
So, to everyone who still reads this blog, thank you for staying.
Bye!
